Legends of the Fallout

In the year 2525, technology is retrograde, violence is pervasive. The nascent post-apocalyptic world government has outlawed most mutant strains, offering rewards for their eradication. Mutant factions have organized; they want to be recognized as human equals. The chaotically run government views this uprising as an existential threat.

Leon Miller cares little about the government’s reasons for placing bounties on mutant heads. He exists in the fringe world of bounty hunting and the dark trade it has spawned. Aided by Treadlow, a heartless tracker and sardonic racist, Miller’s so-called life is a protracted chase through ruined cities and polluted, radioactive hellscapes. Miller drinks. He bolsters his stamina with amphetamine and pain-killing narcotics. Then, there is the woman. She has become the specter who haunts his grim and ruinous odyssey.

The complete MUTANT HUNTER chronicles presented herein fulfill what was begun more than a decade ago. The original Legends of the Fallout was erased from all known media, however, the title serves as the banner beneath which the five definitive volumes now reside. The Slicks and Splinterland have been substantially revised to correct the telling of certain events and incorporate newly discovered material.
